Located in Sagaponack, NY and spanning over 170 acres is my new favorite destination on Long Island. The Wölffer Estate Vineyard is a breath of fresh air and a taste of fresh wine!

We can all thank Christian Wölffer for this special place. The original piece of land was once a potato farm, but with a lot of TLC has become a 55 acre vineyard in addition to boarding stables and a Grand Prix field.

I could have actually ate about 3 cheese plates it's that delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful in picking the best wine and cheese combinations.

Sauvignon Blanc 2015 is what I got since Sauvignon Blanc is my go-to wine. Their homemade wine was an exception to all the favorites I thought I had! Light and fruity which was perfection on a hot summer day.

Become a member of their wine club and you can secure wines before they are released to the public. In addition:

When my fiancé and I got out of the car my heart dropped in awe of how European the vibe was. One side of my family is from Tuscany and it made me feel like I was out of the country just for the day.
